The Location

We believe that the Mills Hollinwood office development is possibly in the best location in Greater Manchester for true accessibility and amenities.

You can get anywhere easily by such a vast range of modes of transport from the site.

The development sits on Junction 22 of the M60, and also has the benefit of being within just a few minutes of J21 of the M60 too.  You can drive to Manchester Airport by motorway within 25 minutes.  Trafford Park- the furthest point away from The Mills Hollinwood via the M60 is also within a 25-minute drive.  There are EV (electric vehicle) charging points on-site, and PV (photovoltaic) solar generation, to make driving by car a sustainable option.

The A62 between Manchester City Centre and Oldham Town Centre passes the site, where there are buses between the two centres and beyond every few minutes.  You can drive on the A62 to Manchester City Centre in 20 minutes, and Oldham Town Centre in 10 minutes.    The Mills Hollinwood also directly neighbours the Hollinwood Metrolink Station, so via the pink line you can get into Manchester City Centre by tram within 15 minutes or Rochdale Town Centre in 35 minutes or East Didsbury in 39 minutes all without changing by a regular service.

Cycle Route 66, which runs along the nearby Rochdale Canal into Manchester Centre and Route 626, which links Oldham to Ashton passes nearby and there are on road cycle routes along the A62, and within the vicinity.  Secure cycle storage is available on site.

Within 5 minutes’ walk from The Mills Hollinwood there are plenty of local amenities and shops.  There’s The Railway Inn with homemade food being served at lunchtime and evening, Morrisons Supermarket, a service station with a Greggs, Costa Coffee and local delis/sandwich shops who deliver for free with lots more eateries in the pipeline too.  ‘Housing Units’ the local home department store has its own ‘1947’ café , ‘Wickentree’ restaurant, and a private dining room which seats 16 and is ideal for hosting meetings.
